In part 2 of our tallest Korean drama actresses and female TV celebrities, you will again find the next 11 highly likeable actresses who are at least 170cm tall.


These include the wildly popular Kim Da-mi of Our Beloved Summer (2022) and highly accomplished actresses like Bae Doona in the recent The Silent Sea and Kim Hye-soo who starred in Juvenile Justice. Let's roll on!

Choi Soo-young was born on 10th February 1990 in Gwangju, Gyeonggi province. A K-pop member of Girls' Generation since 2007, Choi Soo-young also pursued her acting path at the same time since 2008.

Her lead-role moment came in 2014, when she starred in MBC's My Spring Days and achieved a breakthrough performance which netted her the Best Actress in a Mini-series award at the 2014 MBC Drama Awards. She was also the main cast in the 2020-2021 JTBC drama Run On, where she acted with Im Si-wan, Shin Se-kyung and Kang Tae-oh.


Nana killed it with her performance in the 2020 Korean drama Into The Ring where she acted opposite Park Sung-hoon, winning the Excellence Award for Actress in a Miniseries and Best Couple Award with Park Sung-hoon at the KBS Drama Awards in 2020.

A virgo, Nana was born as Im Jin-ah in Cheongju on 14th September 1991. She was well-known in the modelling and K-pop scenes before debuting her acting career in 2015 with the drama Love Weaves Through a Millenium. Her other K-dramas include The Good Wife, Kill It with Jang Ki-yong and Glitch in 2022 with Jeon Yeo-been.


Born on 11 October 1979 in Seoul, Bae Doona is a serious and highly accredited actress. In fact, she is one of the few actresses who are well-known both internationally and locally in South Korea.

Internationally, she has acted in Western films such as Cloud Atlas and Jupiter Ascending as well as in the Netflix TV series Sense8. She has also starred in numerous Korean movies including Boon Joon-ho's 2006 hit movie The Host, which became the highest-grossing film in South Korean box office.


Bae Doona has also delivered riveting performances in Korean drama series such as Stranger in 2017, Kingdom in 2019 and The Silent Sea alongside Gong Yoo in 2021.


Born on 18 December 1995 (Sagittarius), Lim Na-young is a fresh-faced sweet-looking young actress who started out as a K-pop member of I.O.I and later Pristin.

Na-young had her first main role in the 2021 K-drama Summer Guys alongside Lee Jung-shin, Kang Mi-na and Kwon Hyun-bin. She also had her first film debut in the 2021 movie Twenty Hacker acting also with Kwon Hyun-bin.


Born on 25th September 1982 (Libra), Han Joo-young is an actress who is known for her roles in Korean movies Scarlet Innocence in 2014, Untouchable Lawmen in 2015, High Society in 2018 and Memories in 2019.


Park Yoo-na — you will probably recognize her as the rebellious eldest daughter Cha Se-ri in Sky Castle, the top student Kang Su-jin in True Beauty and the prideful police trainee Ki Han-na in Rookie Cops.

Park Yoo-na was born on 23rd December 1997 and studied practical dance at Hanlim Multi Art School. She also made her film debut with the movie White Day: Broken Limit in 2021.


Another young and talented actress, Kim Da-mi was born on on 9 April 1995 (Aries star) and studied performing arts at the Incheon National University.

She delivered stellar performances in her first two Korean dramas Itaewon Class with Park Seo-joon and Our Beloved Summer with Choi Woo-shik. She won the Best New Actress (TV) Award at the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards for Itaewon Class and the Top Excellence Award, Actress in a Mini-Series at the SBS Drama Awards in 2021.


Many will remember Seo ji-hye as the elegant North Korean heiress from the wildly popular Korean drama Crash Landing on You, which is the third highest-rated K-drama in cable television history. In fact, the 170cm tall actress won the Best Supporting Actress (TV) award for her performance in Crash Landing on You at the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards in 2020.

Born on 24 August 1984 (Virgo), Seo Ji-hye made her acting debut in debut in 2003 and has starred in numerous K-dramas over the years, including Over the Rainbow, Surgeons and the recent Dinner Mate in 2020, where she co-starred with Song Seung-heon. For me, her likeable image really help carried the drama!


Who can forget Kim Seo-hyung's riveting performance as Kim Seo-hyung, the stern varsity admission coordinator and "antagonist" in the top-rated Korean drama Sky Castle? Her impeccable acting in Sky Castle delivered her the Actress of the Year award at the Brand of the Year Awards 2019 and Prime Minister's Commendation at the 10th Korean Popular Culture & Arts Awards.

Born on 28 October 1973 in Gangneung, Gangwon province, Seo-hyung studied liberal arts at the Yeongdong Women's College. So far, she has had very gripping performances in her films and dramas, such as the role of Empress Dowager Hwang in Empress Ki in 2013 and Jeong Seo-hyeon in Mine in 2021.


Han Ji-hyun

Born on 21st March 1996 (Aries) in Seoul, Han Ji-hyun is a young actress who studied acting at the Korea National University of Arts. She was best known for her supporting role in the K-drama The Penthouse: War in Life, for which she won the Best New Actress award at the SBS Drama Awards in 2021.


Born on 5th September 1970 (Virgo) in Busan, Kim Hye-soo is another highly acclaimed and accomplished South Korean actress; she made her acting debut at 16 years old and her acting career spanned more than 35 years.

Her list of films and K-dramas is so long that I am not really where to start but I really like her recent K-dramas — Juvenile Justice in 2022, Hyena in 2020, Signal in 2016 and The Queen of Office in 2013.


Kim Hye-soo has won more than 50 awards in her acting career, from the Best New Actress (film) award in the 23rd Baeksang Arts Awards in 1987 (when she was 17) to the Best Actress (film) award at the 53rd Baeksang Arts Awards in 2017 thirty-years later. Amazing!
